Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass are the most successful instrumental group in the history of the Hot 100, placing more than two dozen singles on the chart during the 1960s.
This one is one is probably my favorite. "Casino Royale" is the title song from the James Bond spoof that starred David Niven and a host of other well-known actors. It reached #27 in 1967.

Actually there was more than one chart in Billboard in those days and this record charted number 1 on the Easy Listening Chart (later known as Adult Contemporary). It was that format of station that played this song
