I have been a record collector for more than 40 years. There is nothing sweeter to me than going into a record store and buying vinyl albums and 45s.
Although the availability of these items is limited nowadays, that doesn't mean my love for this activity has diminished.
No, it has actually picked up!
I still go into used record shops looking for vinyl that I don't have. It's a lot of fun to scan the racks, and I usually come home with lots of good stuff.
Now onto 45s ...
I have had a fascination with the 45 rpm record since I was a little kid. My first 45was almost certainly a Chipmunks record. Since then, I have collected thousands of these vinyl disks.
In today's world, vinyl has given way to CD and downloads. That is unfortunate, because the virtues of a 45 are that it is a wonderful way to own and listen to songs that you really like, without extraneous stuff that you might not care for.

Anyway, many 45s that I have purchased over the years come with picture sleeves, some of which replicate the album that they come from, and some of which are unique.
I have created this site to highlight my collection of 45 picture sleeves.
My sleeves span several decades, from the 1960s to the current time. I am only going to upload picture sleeves that are in my collection; for the actual music that these sleeves came with, you will have to search elsewhere.
The direction of this blog are the sleeves, and I will post as many as I possibly can. And I mean both the front and the back, because often, they were different.
So here goes. Give me some time to start uploading, and I think it will be well worth the wait.
